Flying robots. Lasers. Cameras. Oh my!

I'm a Robotics Engineer at Qualcomm Research Philadelphia with a passion for robots (especially the flying kind) and the broader fields of mechanical and aerospace engineering. I have been working with multirotor vehicles since I started doing research in the Flight Dynamics and Control Laboratory back in January 2013. I work on various types of projects for these vehicles that involve writing software, testing hardware, and flying them indoors, outdoors, up high, down low...everywhere, really; sometimes I even let them fly themselves! I love being an engineer just about as much as I love Philly cheesesteaks, i.e. very much.

I graduated from The George Washington University in May 2013 with my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and in May 2014 with my M.S. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. While in DC, I consumed a lot of Ben's Chili Bowl and enjoyed frequenting the monuments late at night after most tourists were fast asleep.

Besides my technical interests, I like taking pictures, both on film and on digital sensors. I also enjoy snowboarding, playing guitar, watching football, and collecting vinyl records.

I live in Philadelphia, PA with my lovely fiancé, Erica. Despite my location, I will always cheer for the Dallas Cowboys with my mom and dad, who also do not live in Texas, although I may or may not do so in the safety of my own apartment.
